Donation – School benches, Water Bottles and Books donated to Junior Secondary School Lokogoma

A small school, junior secondary school in Lokogoma, Abuja, buzzed with joy yesterday morning as children of the Junior Secondary School could finally sit on real benches instead of the bare concrete floor they had known for years.

Hand2Hand Foundation handed over, twenty sturdy school benches, sixty reusable water bottles, and more than five hundred exercise books to the delighted pupils and their teachers. The moment the first bench was carried in, cheers erupted. Little faces that once winced from hours spent on hard floors now beamed with pride as they claimed their seats.

One JSS2 student, eyes shining, whispered to a volunteer, “Now I can write without my book sliding away.” Another girl hugged her new water bottle like a treasure, already dreaming of cooler, cleaner breaks.
For me and all of us at Hand2Hand Foundation, this is more than a donation; it is a quiet proof that change is possible when hearts decide to act. Every child deserves a place to sit, something to drink, and pages to write their future on.
We are only a small group, but we believe these small acts can inspire many more.
The children waved goodbye with promises to study harder, their laughter echoing long after the Hand2Hand team drove away.
In a country where so many classrooms still wait for help, today Lokogoma received hope, delivered bench by bench, bottle by bottle, book by book. May others see this light and follow. The children are ready, and now, at last, they have somewhere comfortable to sit while they chase their dreams.
